Our mission is to place Great Danes with first responders and military personnel, both active and retired, while also educating the public about Great Danes as a breed. MATTHEW'S STORY
I'm Matthew H. Coakley, I am a disabled police officer with 20 years of service. I was also a correctional officer for 5 years. I am a survivor of both cancer and heart disease and I am blessed to be alive and live the mission of Danes for Heroes Inc. I have my beautiful wife Stefanie who has always been there for me, and we have our rescue dog Reese who has rescued us. We appreciate any and all donations to further our cause.
